TWO WOLVES INSIDE OF ME (AND THEY'RE NOT GONNA GET THEM)

t.A.T.u., for me, represents a time in my life when I had no worries. I was finishing up college on a study abroad year in Japan, t.A.T.u.'s 200 kM/H In The Wrong Lane was playing EVERYWHERE you went, and the world was enamored by these two Russian girls and their fictional forbidden love. I still have a chip in my front tooth from when a friend slammed the microphone in my face during a karaoke duet of "Not Gonna Get Us" (or maybe it was "All the Things She Said").

Their later albums did it for me, too. I still listen to a lot of it at the gym, and that's probably why I'm so strong.
